  • IT Operations Manager

    Do you want to join a team that is changing the ferry industry as our new IT Operations Manager? You will be responsible for managing the complete IT for Holland Norway Lines (HNL) in the Netherlands, Norway and on the ship MS Romantika with an eco-system of IT-suppliers. You will be working in a young and dynamic team with significant ambition to be different in the market, focusing on the best passenger experience and sustainability.

    What are you going to do?

    The IT manager is responsible for the continuity and innovation of the IT infrastructure and the IT software platform for HNL. Your responsibilities are: 

    • Managing the different suppliers, from satellite networks to SAAS solutions; 
    • Keep the critical core processes running at required service levels and secure; 
    • Build lasting relationships with all stakeholders (internally and externally); 
    • Report directly to the CFO; 
    • Span of control +/- 20 (international) suppliers, with in future multiple ships; 
    • Microsoft and Fortinet are used at core integration processes; 
    • Innovate the IT ecosystem for HNL in accordance with our ambitions; 
    • You enjoy the mix of helping others to grow while also being an active member of the team. 

    Job requirements 

    We would like to get in touch with candidates who recognize themselves in the below profile: 

    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline; 
    • 10+ years of experience with IT infrastructure and software integration; 
    • 3+ years of experience managing suppliers;
    • Knowledge of IT security and SAAS integration; 
    • Experience working alongside multiple stakeholders, including leadership roles; 
    • Proven ability to align people, process and technology to deliver value; 
    • Experience with the maritime sector; 
    • Fluency in written and spoken English required; 
    • Available as soon as possible for 28-32 hours per week.

  • Financial Administrator

    Do you want to work in a motivated team and do you have an affinity with numbers? Are you looking for a challenge in an ambitious cruise ferry company? Then the position of financial administrator is for you! 

    You will have many different tasks within this position, such as making VAT returns and structurally archiving the administration. You will also be responsible for purchasing invoices and making sales invoices. Besides that, you will assist the controller with the collection and compilation of annual financial statements.

    • Structurally archiving the administration, both digital and physical 
    • Timely signaling of inadequacies to management 
    • Assist the controller with the collection and compilation of annual financial statements 
    • Report directly senior business controller 
    • Periodic checking of various balance sheet accounts including the current and other suspense accounts 
    • Analyse, interpret and verify the data at your disposal 

     Job requirements

    • Vocational college level 
    • At least one or two years of work experience in a similar function 
    • It is important that you have knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes such as Word, Excel and Outlook 
    • Experience with Exact Online is an advantage

    • You like to work hands-on because of the changing range of tasks within your job and you must be able to switch quickly between them 
    • You work accurately and precisely

  • Junior Business Controller 

    As the Junior Business Controller, you are jointly responsible for the administration of Holland Norway Lines. You are the right hand of the Senior Business Controller. For example, you will be helping with the preparation of monthly reports. On the other hand, you will assist with data collection to create a budget. Besides that, you are responsible for the control of General ledger accounts and balance positions such as suspense accounts. You will also be assisting the Senior Business Controller with daily administration.
